Carnivore: The white-throated bee eater eats insects, wasps, bees, and hornets. Niche: Bee-eaters mostly eat varieties of insects, especially bees, wasps and hornets, which they catch in the air very easily from an open perch. Specifically, the white-throated bee-eater eats primarily flying ants and beetles. These birds lay about 6-7 eggs at a time, and they nest together as a species.
